Birthday Blog!!!!!!!

I guess that picture would be better suited for this weekend when its my actual birthday but I like it anyways!

Ive been promising that I was going to blog again for the past week so there is a lot to catch up on! And look!!! I am actually blogging! Arent you proud! I know I am!

So, a couple weeks ago, maybe about a month ago, Ethan and I thought we had a lightbulb bandit. I came home to see a random lightbulb sitting outside our house. Come to find out, due to needed the landlords fix our heat, that lightbulb was from them and was for our fridge! We had no idea and just put it in the lamp! Opps!! Jenn made me laugh because she asked why we didnt look on the package to see that it was a appliance bulb! But in my defense we were so confused at where it came from that it didnt matter what the package said!

The funniest comment that I think I have ever said occured today. I was telling Jenn that I think I can type faster with my rings on. She said it might be because of the reflection of the rings. I then made the sound of the star wars light saber sound and said, its like Star Wars but with hands! Jenn and I laughed and laughed and laughed! It still makes me giggle as I type it!!!!

Yesterday Ethan and I went out to dinner for the first time in MONTHS! It was nice to be served and not have to worry about doing the dishes later! We went to Papa J's which I had heard was fantastic but yeah way too over priced for what we had. Anyhoot, I was spewing on him the current events of the Call Center Activities Committee and how everyone has gotten very caddy and immature. He stopped me to ask, " I thought Shelly was the one from the weekend that you liked?" I responded with, " Well yes I did, until I found out that she was a caddy 2 year old!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " Again a HOOT!!!

Tomorrow is my birthday, I remember always being super excited and I think it just might be age ( rip ol age of 26 ) but Im just not that excited this year. I almost feel like its a burden. But oh well we are going bowling and will be able to get Jer and Erin out of the house with no kids. We should have a great time! Sunday we go to my parents house for my family birthday party. Thats always a great time enjoyed by all. My crazy family is the bestest!!!!!!!!

Ethan and I both got paid today. Its exciting to know that we can start the road of paying off bills. We got pretty far behind when he was unemployed. Also with our taxes coming soon, we can pay off a lot! Including friends and family. That part is more embarassing then the debt that we have! I hate borrowing and oweing people money! It sucks! But soon!! Everyone will be paid back and things will be back to normal!

I'm trying to find a good Valentines Day present for Ethan. Part of me wants to get him the book that he has wanted since before Christmas and part of me wants to get him a nice journal so he can start writting again. I think he is in a very peaceful place when he writes. He has said he would like to try and get something published but I dont want this to seem like I am pushing him. So hmm we will see. I know for a fact we are going to the Keg downtown. Yep, as soon I as I typed that I looked in my purse for the coupon I had for the Keg and I read that its only Sunday thru Thursday! V-Day is on SATURDAY! BOO HISS!!! So Im thinking maybe I will try for Maggianos. That was our first date so that might be really nice. More money than I think we wanted to spend but oh well. I will talk to him about it tonight and see what he thinks. Good thing I looked at that now before I sent it!
